Mac's American Bar is a bit of an institution in Costa
Rica. For years we have been known as the place to go for Gringo sports
and food but with a distinctive Costa Rican flair. Our ten televisions
with Satellite and Direct TV get all of the NFL and College football
games as well as soccer, baseball and hockey. Our upstairs patio area
also has three regulation size pool tables and a great view of the
mountains and Sabana Park.
Although the bar looks like your classic tropical ex pat hangout we are
a favorite amongst the local crowd for our great food and drinks at
prices locals can afford.
When in San Jose make sure to stop and see why. There is always room
